The exhibition Art as a Soliloquy reflects Gabriela’s personal journey, where each piece serves as a visual dialogue with her inner thoughts. Like a soliloquy, the artwork invites the viewer to engage with her reflections on identity, humanity, and the environment, creating a powerful and intimate connection between the artist and the audience.

This retrospective exhibition showcases a collection of works created over the past 16 years, weaving together themes of nature, transformation, and the subconscious. Each piece, from “We Are All Connected” to “Infinity Fractal,” explores the intricate patterns and cycles of life. “Moon and Butterfly Cycle” highlights the harmony of celestial rhythms, while “Seahorse Woman” celebrates feminine strength and fluidity. “The Moon and Constellations” invites viewers to connect with the ancient guidance of the stars, and “Observing Through the Subconscious” delves into the depths of inner perception.

Gabriela aims to touch the audience’s awareness, developing a connection with the art piece, hopefully catalyzing from an abstract idea a call to action to bring about change in a more humane direction. Through her work, she aims to spotlight the gift of womanhood, weaving a visual narrative that celebrates resilience and echoes the profound beauty of the human spirit.

Her love for poetry plays a vital role in her creative process. Occasionally, Gabriela writes to develop her ideas, using words as a foundation from which she visually expresses her thoughts. This fusion of language and imagery becomes an essential part of her work, deepening the emotional resonance of her art. Notable projects like “Suitcases of Dreams” and “Latinos con un Solo Corazon” reflect her ability to blend narrative and visual storytelling, exploring themes of identity, belonging, and cultural unity.
